How can tech disrupt the $4 trillion Beauty Services Industry who's today untouched and not Global
The Beauty Services Industry is worth $4 trillion and apart from Hotel Chain Spas, there has never been a truly Global platform.
Heck, even Marriot Group is only present in 100+ countries while Airbnb is almost at 200. And the largest taxi companies are in less than 10 countries while Uber has almost 70.
The Beauty Products Industry is ripe with Global companies like J&J, P&G, L'oreal, Estée Lauder and Shiseido dominating markets / countries worldwide.
But by far the biggest chain of Beauty Salons you have heard outside of Hotel Spas is only a handful like Toni&Guy.
China is poised to breakout with their largest Beauty Salon Chain having almost 1,000 shops, giving them enough firepower to takeover the world in the next decade or so.
But could technology disrupt that first and be a truly Global Platform, setting standards and giving consumers a peace of mind on what to expect when consuming beauty services.
