Cracking the code on long-term behavior change
Despite loads of data and research people still smoke, eat unhealthy food, and become overweight. With at-home BGM technology people with type 2 diabetes have access to their blood glucose data but still significant numbers of patients are in poor control and there has been little change in % meeting control targets, while the population continues to expand.
Can all the new technology and access to even more data change long-term healthy behavior? Could the consumer-led approach to healthcare by engaging with consumers on a personalized level be the way in which we crack the code on behavior change?
