Is it just me that can't stand social media?
Just about everyone is on Facebook or Insta, but is social really social? No matter the platform, they all share the same trait of being dangerously inauthentic - what you see is not what you get. Adding more smoke and mirrors, the tech giants have done a poor job of policing and regulating "fake news", bots and bogus followers, it's hard to know whom or what to trust.
So is this inauthentic environment a suitable place for brands to be engaging in "real" conversations with customers?
