The Partners | London Framing Studio | Thames Wire
 |
How do you create a localised campaign for a London Framing specialist? The answer, it seems, is to turn your back on the public.
The Partners created posters that revealed only the back of framed pictures. Each one showed the hanging wire in the shape of the River Thames,
creating a simple directional map. People could only imagine the beautiful portrait on the other side... and find their way to the framer.
The first (smallish) print run led to a definite increase in sales, and several commissions from local galleries. In a fitting tribute, many of
the posters were also pinched. |
